As a novice to database design and to Alpha 5, I was concerned about the value of attending the conference. I was anxious about whether or not I would be able to understand and utilize the information. Truthfully, I was concerned that the "computer geeks" might not be able to communicate on a level I was able to comprehend! Boy, was I wrong!

I found the conference helpful. But, I TRULY found Alpha 5 to be the most amazing software I've ever seen. Although I'm a novice, I have examined Oracle, Paradox, Foxpro, Access, FileMakePro and even the old Approach product from Lotus. Alpha 5 leaves them all behind! You are a truly a gifted man. You have the ability to see what your customers need and how to produce a product that even those of us who are "nearly computer illiterate" can use. Thank you again for your wonderful leadership at Alpha.

I am very eager to purchase the new V. 5.5 upon release in June! And, I can hardly wait for the add-on web products that will allow us to use the product via Internet for our remote offices.

I would like to begin using the Beta V. 5.5. I have already purchased 5.4 and am using that already. Is it possible for me to have a password as a Beta User so that I can use 5.5 and download the most recent Beta versions monthly until 5.5 is released? I certainly hope so, but I will understand if that's not possible. I heard several of the developers talking and they said that only Selwyn can give you the password to access the new Beta versions. So, I thought I'd ask.

Thanks again for your wonderful leadership and guidance at Alpha and for the product that you have been able to bring to produce at Alpha. I have already referred a couple of potential users to Alpha just since I returned to my office this morning!!!!
