As a developer I enter into client contracts guided by our company standard to provide professional-quality applications with cutting-edge features delivered in a timely fashion. While other database application development packages like Access and FileMaker can support one or more elements of this standard, none comes close to Alpha Software's Alpha Five, Version 5. If Alpha's earlier versions have been gems, Version 5 is the compelling mother load!

Alpha has been listening carefully to its developer community. And, more than just listen they have responded with a development environment rich in professional features and full of power. Alpha's "field rules" have always been a distinguishing feature as a tool set enabling you to build in a wide variety of data-entry rules without writing code. They have expanded on this approach to provide the developer an enormous variety of additional tools and features that make quick work of complex applications. From something as simple as adding a host of well-conceived data functions, to enhancing an already a top-notch report writer, to the introduction of their new Xdialog language for quickly creating custom dialog boxes, their new feature list numbers in the hundreds. Each time I open Alpha Five I discover a new feature making our work easier or adding new functionality to our applications. Thanks for listening, Alpha!
