As an Alpha Five developer, I fully expect that there will be a fundamental change in my business with the release of Alpha Five Version 5. Alpha Five has always been a great solution for small businesses that needed custom applications, but for many the cost of developing a custom solution could be prohibitive. I expect that the speed with which development will be possible in Version 5 is going to make it possible for me to offer comprehensive custom applications at a remarkably affordable cost. I also expect that I’ll have many more clients who want to do the majority of the work themselves when I show them how easy Version 5 is to work with. Since I enjoy nothing better than helping small businesses find ways of operating more efficiently at lower costs, Alpha Five Version 5 is a godsend.

I also expect the way I work to change dramatically. I’ve always pretty much ignored Action Scripting and gone right to Xbasic programming when automating an application since the selections in Action Scripting so often were too limited and failed to meet my needs. With the amazing enhancements in Action Scripting built into Version 5, I don’t think I’ll ever create a script again without starting in Action Scripting, and I’m sure that in most instances that’s all I’ll ever need. Alpha Five Version 5 now truly is a database program for the non-programmer.
