As time has permitted, I have been working with the beta of ver 5. All I can say is WOW. Version 5 gives me so much more flexibility in design that I have had to re-think how I want to present information to my users. I am converting from version 1.02, and, although I was a bit overwhelmed at first with the changes to x-basic, I am really impressed with the power this new version of the software affords me. Selwyn and the crew at Alpha Software have been able to accommodate all of my requirements for multiple, complex applications on a very large network. In version 1, we had "card stacks" as applications and I needed to create separate forms for my security. With x-dialog, I replaced the forms and now have x-dialog boxes which look much "cleaner", and behave better. Since the "application" is now a series of "forms", I can make changes and additions which will happen immediately.

I believe that our applications have pushed ver 1 farther than anyone would have believed. From what I have seen so far, ver 5 will allow us to really soar.
